Our teeth can become unsightly discolored through lifestyle habits such as smoking or the consumption of foods such as black or green tea, coffee or red wine.
Root-treated teeth can also take on an aesthetically unsatisfactory gray color.

In these cases, tooth whitening can be a simple measure to give your teeth a more even and lighter shade again.

There are whitening products that can be used at home with prefabricated splints (home whitening) and those that can only be used by the dentist (office whitening).
We advise you to be very careful with home bleaching products. At least a check-up and consultation with a dentist should take place beforehand. Uncovered exposed tooth necks, untreated tooth decay, or leaky fillings could otherwise cause serious side effects.

With office bleaching, the teeth are first thoroughly cleaned, because the whitening does not work without clean teeth.
Then a liquid rubber protection is applied to the gums and then cured with UV light. This means that the whitening gel cannot reach the gums, which should be avoided as a matter of urgency.
Once the teeth have been cleaned and the gums are protected, the actual whitening gel is applied. Once applied, the teeth are illuminated with UV light in a special wavelength to “activate” the gel.
Just close your eyes and relax to pleasant music, if used correctly and indicated, bleaching is a completely painless procedure to give your teeth a young and fresh look.
