More info

Veneers are wafer-thin veneers made of high-strength ceramic, which are glued to the teeth using a special acid-etching technique.

Veneers can be used to correct, among other things, slight tooth misalignments, unsatisfactory tooth color or shape or other aesthetic "defects".

The advantage of veneers is that the preparation, ie the “grinding” of the tooth, can be carried out in a minimally invasive manner. New, state-of-the-art, high-strength ceramics make it possible to keep substance removal as low as possible.
There are also situations in which the preparation of the tooth can be dispensed with entirely (non-prep veneers).

Veneers are biologically very well tolerated, the natural light properties and transparency give a natural appearance and discoloration from smoking, red wine, coffee etc. is much more difficult on the highly polished surface than on natural tooth enamel.

A previous wax-up can simulate the situation before the start of treatment. For this purpose, we take an impression of the current situation and according to the patient's specifications, the teeth are modeled on the model made in the laboratory with tooth-colored wax. In this way, the patient knows in advance what is possible and what the subsequent aesthetics might look like.

Removable dentures

If there are not enough remaining teeth to fix a fixed restoration or if an implantation is not possible / desired, a removable denture can be a possibility to replace the missing teeth.

So there is a wide range of full dentures, which only hold themselves through suction and muscle power, to simple clasp dentures or more complicated combination work which find retention on attachments or telescopes.
Modern techniques and materials also allow the use of exclusively metal-free dentures in the field of partial and full dentures.

Let us advise you on this after a detailed examination and assessment.
